We had planned to climb up the Myrtle Creek fire trail and start
traversing the range from the Nullo Mountain side - with food,
overnight gear, water and climbing gear. We went a fair way up the
creek before the heat turned us back (we eventually cooled off later
that day in the Sandy Hollow Pub)
