A nice trip organised at last minute after Mitch sent me a SMS. Neither of us had a car – so we took bikes up on the train and rode to the top of Jugglers Canyon. The weather was a bit iffy too. Showers were forecast – and on the ride out from Medlow Bath – it started raining and we both got a bit wet. Not long after the sun came out – and remained out for the rest of the day.
We had a quick trip down Jugglers Canyon and then walked up the Grand Canyon track and abseiled in – and then a fairly quick trip down the canyon.
The swim at the end was chilly – but its at the end of the canyon – so it didn’t matter to much. Soon we were back in the sun after climbing up the Point Pilcher track. Back at the bikes – we did a ride out to Point Pilcher for the view and then back to Medlow Bath for the train home.
