Mountain Biking at Kentlyn

Chris, Clare and myself went on a nice ride yesterday at Kentlyn.

We started by doing the long loop to the east of Boronia Road. Bob the Builder has been busy adding a few more sections to his track and that made for a fun start to our ride. The track is only in a small area of land but it winds around for about 4 or 5 km before returning to the road.

A map of this section can be found here (but it is a rough “generalised” GPS plot – and leaves a lot of the fine points of the track out.

After completing that loop, we headed out to the old jump park. A bushfire or controlled burn has been through the area and a lot of the tracks were covered with leaves. After reaching the creek – we headed upstream and crossed Peter Meadows Road and the then did a quick run along the (slightly extended) Bendi Track before returning. A GPS plot of the loop can be found here.
