Wolli Creek Fungi – 29 June 2017

A lot more colourful waxcaps are starting to appear in certain areas along Wolli Creek. I completed another walk along the creek, this time from Bexley North to just below Turrella Reserve.

I was very pleased to observe another of the rare Humidicutis viridimagentea growing quite close to the track at the rock climbing area. I also observed another unusual fungus growing downstream from Turrella reserve which I now believe is also a Humidicutis viridimagentea.
