Climbers - Stu, Enmoore, Martin, Steffy, Albert, Dave

Anzac day was a nice day for some climbing. We went to Nortons Basin near Wallacia. I have been to this place before - and it is an attractive  setting with the cliffs sitting above the basin - a large pool on the Nepean Rover. However - the area is also noted for its rubbish - burnt out dumped cars, broken glass, plastic bottles..... a shame! The area deserves to be looked after a lot better. One of the crags (Riverside Crag) is surrounded by a tall sea of lantana - and it is hard to get to the actual crag.

Some of the climbs are great - but the area does not get a lot of visitation by climbers - so there is alot of dust and dirt on the holds and lichen growing on the rock in places.

The climbs are described in the SRC Online Guide.
