On this trip, we entered the south branch of Bowens Creek. We did not enter high up, so missed the early canyon sections. We entered via a creek north of the Pierces Pass turnoff from the Bell Road. This small creek was nice with higher water from a thunderstorm the day before. This small creek enters lower down in the upper part of Bowens Creek South Branch, but you still visit some of the best canyon in that branch.
