Party - John, Chuin Nee, Marty, Col, Mark, Dave

The trip was supposed to go to Claustral Canyon - but there had been a lot of rain - so I suggested Hat Hill Canyon as an alternative as no one in the pary besides from me had visited it. It was quite a wet day and the creek was indeed up a lot!

Above - walking down the creek - slow in the high water

Above - we arrive at the start of the first constriction. The creek looked dangerous to go down at the point. Luckily we found a ledge on the right to bypass the tricky bit.

Above - the start of the second constriction. It too looked too dangerous to go down. Once more we looked for a way around. We found a way around on the left this time.
