Wollangambe Canyon - Lower Section - 14 - 15 March 2009

The previous day we had liloed
down a lower section of Wollangambe
Canyon. In the pate afternoon - we found ourselves at a tricky 3m
waterjump. We avoided the jump by using a high bypass ledge on the true
right. This took us into a nice campcave - a dry haven for a wet night.
A cosy fire and a few bottles of wine provided for a very comfortable
night.....

Above - Chuin Nee fixing a puncture in John's lilo. At one time or
another - each one of us had a puncture. To fix the lilos -it required
us stopping, getting a fire going, drying the lilo near the puncture,
applying glue to the lilo and the patch (pieces of old lilo), waiting
20 minutes or so for the glue to dry, then sticking on the patch and
re-inflating the lilo.

Above - a fair way down now, and past noon, it was time to look for a
pass and climb out.
