Above - we find this large chick (about 25 cm high) - probably a Lyre Bird. It didn't seem to happy being in the canyon

We climbed up to the Bowens Creek climbing area - and spent some time looking at the climbs before heading back to the Bell Rd. A great day spent in a really nice canyon.
