Sculpture By The Sea – Tamarama to Bondi – 28 October 2015

I headed to Tamarama in time for the dawn in order to take some photos of Sculpture By The Sea. The forecast was for cloud till noon, and this turned out to be correct. There was little sun in the morning – but it was still quite pleasant to wander around with a camera. I was not the only one! There seemed to be lots of people with cameras and tripods.

After spending some time ar Tamarama Beach, I slowly followed the Coastal Walkway to Bondi and then returned to Tamarama and then walked around to Bronte to catch a bus home.

This was only my second year of visiting this exhibition, and I thought the standard was quite impressive. Perhaps better than 2014? But you did get the feeling that a lot of the sculptures were very derivative of works exhibited in 2014. Maybe this is to be expected if they invite the same artists to contribute?
