I thought it was time to return to Lane Cove Bushland Park to check out the fungi once again. It was very wet for my last visit. This time it was much drier – and there did not seem to be so much fungi out.
I walked down the main track and photographed a few things that were out. At the bottom I returned via the creek for the first part – and here things improved. As I stopped to photograph one fungi, I found a lot more that was out. Most of it was very tiny fungi – the sort of things that are easy to miss.
I was sorry in the end that I had not arrived a bit earlier. I had arrived around 3pm at the park. Juts when i found a lot of things out – I had to cut short my visit because the light was failing – it was close to sunset.
Well – it looks like I should return for another, longer visit. Perhaps just after some rain?
