Lady Carrington Drive – Royal National Park – More Fungi Photos – 4 April 2014

I went down to Lady Carrington Drive in Royal National Park to see what fungi was out. After visiting Bola Creek last week, I thought nearby Lady Carrington Drive could be as good. It is partly rainforest and has some nice shady gullies coming in. I started from Audley (cycling down from Sutherland)

I did find some good fungi – but also a lot of drab species. Things got better when I arrived the crossing of Bola Creek – here a huge amount of fungi was out – but unfortunately it start raining quite heavily. I waited a while to se if the rain would ease – but it didn’t so I headed home – riding up to Waterfall.
