More Birds and Fungi at Wolli Creek – 24 June 2018

This was another trip from Bexley North to Tempe via the Two Valleys Track along Wolli Creek. I was hoping for a lot of fungi to be out, but I also carried the camera I usually use for bird photos. I think I ended up with more birds than fungi.

Eastern Yellow Robin

Anyway – here is some of the fungi I found –

More photos of fungi, together with my attempts at identification can be found online here on my website.

And a photo of a flying fox –

Now for the birds. First some Welcome Swallows at the first open grassy area –

Going for an insect

And a Silverye, a Fairy Wren and a Grey Fantail –

Near Bardwell Park, I spotted these two birds flying high. Perhaps  raptors?

At Turrella Reserve I photographed this nice New Holland Honeyeater  –
