Nature at Oatley Park – 4 January 2018

I had a pleasant day with friends at Oatley Park. I headed down with Chuin Nee and her two young sons Jasper and Seby, and where joined there by her sister and her two children who were visiting from Singapore.

Everyone had a good chance to observe a fair bit of Nature on our walk around the park and Lime Kiln Bay. Some of the birds –

And lizards –

Also, a Robber Fly –

And some orchids –

We had lunch at the Steam Roller Park on the top of the hill. The birds there are interesting.

And then we cooled off with a swim. The mud crabs nearby were interesting to watch –

And an amphipod (or sea flea) –
