Tempe and Cooks River Birds and More – 21 November 2017

I made a short trip to the Tempe Wetlands looking for birds to photograph.

Australasian Figbird

As well as birds, I could not help noticing the large number of lizards (skinks) active in the area.

As for the birds I did not find too much that was special this visit –

Dusky Moorhen (chick)

Bulbul

Sacred Ibis

Silvereye

Australasian Grebe

Superb Fairy Wren

Australasian Figbird

And some Tiger Moths –

On the way home, I spotted a nice White faced Heron near Gough Whitlam Park –
