Curra Moors Walk – 7 November 2017

This was a very pleasant photo walk with David Hufton along the Curra Moors Track in Royal National Park. Quite a few wildflowers were out on the Moors and also the sea was  rough along the coast – nice conditions for photos.

As we set off from the main road, we could not help noticing a lot of Christmas Bells in flower –

And always a few birds, flowers and insects –

We didn’t see any other walkers until we reached the Coastal Track at Curracurrong. There we found a nice shady cave for lunch. Below the sea was raging! Very powerful indeed.

After lunch and a few more photos, we continued along the Coastal Track towards Garie. The first part offers more fine views of the angry sea –

Back on the moors, we later turned off and walked back along the Curra Moors Track back to the main road. Here are a few more insects –

More photos are online here on my website.
