Coachwood Glen Fungi – 1 July 2017

This was a field activity of the Sydney Fungal Studies Group to Coachwood Glen which is on the Megalong Valley Road near Blackheath.

This was quite a cold day, but that did not deter a fair group of people going in on the day. We found a good collection of fungi, although like other recent visits to fungi areas – things were a bit dry.

One interesting observation was a caterpillar infected with Beauveria bassiana (a Cordyceps like fungus).
