Ferndale Park Fungi – 24 May 2017

On this visit to Ferndale Park I was joined by Ray and Elma from the Sydney Fungal Studies Group Inc. We had a most interesting time.

Hygrocybe aurantipes

A lot of fungi was out, including the green-pink waxcap. Here are some photos of it –

As well, a lot of other waxcaps were out –

We also observed an interesting species that none of us could identify at the time. We later found it was Helvella aff. macropus.

Helvella aff. macropus

And a nice bunch of jelly babies –

More photos are online on my website here.
