Lane Cove Valley Walk – 20 February 2017

I went on a walk from Thornleigh to Macquarie Park, mainly along the track of the Great North Walk. I wanted to see if any fungi or orchids were out.

It turned out that I didn’t see much fungi, and most of the orchids I saw were old ones that had lots their flowers. But it was a pleasant walk and it is always nice to be out in the bush again.

At the De Burgh Bridge I crossed the river and did the short loop down to Porters Creek and and back before walking to Macquarie Park Station.
