Day 8 - I think it may have rained overnight - but anyway, it soon cleared up as we started climbing up Lucifer Ridge to the Western Arthur Range. We continued to Promontory Lake to camp.

Day 9 - A great days walk to arrive early at High Moor. Sensational views all the way.

Day 10 - After some misty weather - it cleared up to a perfect day as we continued on the traverse to camp on the ridge between Mt Orion and Mt Sirius. After and early dinner, we climbed Mt Sirius for a lengthy sunset interlude which was sensational - with mist swirling around the peaks.

Day 11 - A funny sort of sunrise - with several levels of mist and cloud. Then we headed off to complete the rest of the range - in approaching bad weather. Rain hit us near Mt Hesperus - and we had to put on our parkas for the first time of the trip as we quickly descended Moraine A. We the walked via Junction Creek to Huon Camp near Scotts Peak Dam

Day 12 - Bus to Hobart.
