Wolli Creek Fungi -  9 July 2016

The fungi identifications here that I made are only amateurish - and I would appreciate any additions or corrections.

This was a field activity organised by the Sydney Fungal Studies Group Inc

Above - Cortinarius sp

Above - Calvatia sp (Puffball)

Above - Geastrum triplex (Earth Star)

Above - Clavulinopsis amoena

Above - The fungus (Cortinarius ?) has been infected with a pin mould

Above - Hygrocybe sp. This is an interesting one. It resembles Hygrocybe aurantipes in colour (cap and stipe) - but not in structure. The stipe is too thin and the cap has the scallops. So perhaps an undescribed species? I have seen a very similar one in Sassafras Gully in the Blue Mts.
