National Falls - Palona Creek and Bola Creek Fungi - 7 August 2016

All images © David Noble. No image can be used for any purpose without permission.

The fungi identifications here that I made are only amateurish - and I would appreciate any additions or corrections. Thanks to Ray and Elma Kearney for help with identifying the Cordyceps and some of the other fungi.

I headed down to photograph the fungi at Palona Creek and Bola Creek with Digi Dave. On the way down, we stopped off at National Falls for a couple of photos.

Above - These ones seem too deep a shade of purple to be Porpolomopsis lewelliniae. Perhaps a new species? More photos follow.
