Above - A very big climb and very wet weather that afternoon - and I arrived here at Preval - a shepherds hut with food and accommodation. All the food I had here was home made and very good.

Above - More wet weather the next day meant the salamanders were out. I only walked for two hours to the next hut - and on the way saw three of these colourful creatures.

Above - A "source" (spring) at an old mine. According to a local legend the water turns to gold at certain times.

Above - I soon arrive at Roblekov Dom - and shelter from the rain.

Above - Looking down to Lake Bled

Above - The next morning the weather is clear. Snow has fallen overnight. Lake Bled on the left and the Julian Alps (Triglav is the high summit)
